Complementary information: IVISYS receives three new orders from Atlas Copco, TC Tech and DP patterning
15 June 2018
IVISYS has received three new orders from three different clients; the total worth is approximately 660 TSEK. These orders will influence the Q2 and Q3 results of 2018.
The first order is for a new client where the vision system will be an integrated part of DP patterning’s printing machine, so it would be on every new machine they deliver in the future. The second order is a repeat order from TC Tech. The third order is for a service and support contract for Atlas Copco.
CEO Mikael Sjöholm comments
“These three orders validate our work and our ambitions for the future. Firstly, they add new customers to our growing customer base, secondly they see our systems integrated into production machinery sold by others in the market and thirdly, they increase our service and support offering, which should be part of every future system delivery. The service and support offering will be IVISYS’ long tail income source and should, over time, account for more than 15% of IVISYS’ yearly turnover. Again I always treasure repeat orders from existing clients, since this confirms the value and the quality in everything that we provide” says Mikael Sjöholm

IVISYS provides vision-based quality inspection solutions for industry, which can replace both manual and mechanical quality control. IVISYS’ unique, patented solutions make it possible to perform complex quality control while keeping the existing production flow unaffected. Unlike existing solutions, IVISYS’ approach makes it possible to perform complex surface controls, control measurements on the micron level and control multiple components in one instant process. The solutions are based on IVISYS’ patented image data processing, which differs fundamentally from the conventional processes used within vision systems today. IVISYS is capable of utilizing high-resolution cameras in the company’s image processing, while at the same time processing image information faster than the company’s competitors. The solutions offered have an average payback period of approximately six months for customers currently relying on mechanical or manual control.
IVISYS is the winner of Frost & Sullivan’s 2017 Entrepreneur of the Year in Europe Award.
