27 April 2017

IVISYS AB (‘IVISYS’) has received an order for an inspection system from a company which produces and sells food packaging. The system will verify correct labelling of a series of the company’s products. The complete system will be delivered during Q2 2017. The order has a value of approx. 40.000 Euro and is expected to contribute to IVISYS’ Q2 results.
The customer will be provided with a system for use in a quality assurance performing in-line detection at very high speed of different types of packaging. The system will meet the customer’s need to distinguish a high number of product variations and will operate at in-line speed.

CEO Jakob Kesje comments

‘It is pleasing that we get the chance to deliver this system to the packaging industry. The verification of the presence of the correct product is quite different from checking for arbitrary defects, which has been the type of project we have most frequently been involved in until now. The number of product options in combination with the speed of the production line will provide us with a good opportunity to really put our extremely fast image-processing software to work. In addition, this project will serve as an important reference in a market with thousands of potential customers worldwide.’
