In order to increase the awareness of how automated quality inspection can help European manufacturers, IVISYS welcomes new sales manager Elisabeth Carlund.
Elisabeth has previously worked in various positions as purchaser in the manufacturing industry, most recently as strategic purchaser for SKF in Sweden. Before that, Elisabeth worked as purchaser for IKEA Inter System B.V abroad.
From her previous positions, she has accrued an in depth understanding of the challenges sub suppliers face, when it comes to delivering zero defect batches. IVISYS’ one-system-fits-all approach to automated quality control prompted Elisabeth to contact IVISYS regarding a vacant position in sales. Elisabeth Carlund says:
“Over the years, I have been in touch with many, many sub suppliers and I have seen how they struggle to set up and operate quality inspection systems. In many cases, they rely on multiple systems to be able to conduct quality assurance of their full product ranges. The IVISYS Pro series struck me as being just what such companies lack: One system, which can be applied to a wide range of products, without the need of major adjustments when switching from producing one product to another.”
CEO of IVISYS Jakob Kesje comments
Earlier in 2015 IVISYS raised about 12 million SEK through an IPO, prior to the company’s listing on Nasdaq First North in Stockholm. A key component in IVISYS’ growth plans is to speed up sales by recruiting more sales staff. CEO Jakob Kejse comments:
“We are very pleased to welcome Elisabeth to IVISYS. She has a highly relevant background as purchaser and thus adds to our overall knowledge about how we can help companies handle the decreasing tolerance towards flawed products from sub suppliers. Adding her to our team is consistent with the growth plans we have laid out regarding how we will grow IVISYS’ revenue in the coming years.”
